Observation

WAC 110-300-0331(c) is valid. During the interviews two staff memebrs stated that they witnessed a teacher in the infant room being rough with the children. WAC 110-300-0331(e) is not valid. There was no grooming behavior observed. During the interview teacher stated that she wears a t-shirt with little hearts of the different pride flags, teacher redirected the children everytime they wanted to touch the shirt. WAC 110-300-0331(xxi) is valid. Staff and management stated that they place children in high chairs for them to calm their bodies down. In the interview it was stated that children are given snacks or a book to read while they are in the high chair. The purpose of the high chair is to feed the children only. ??
